There’s something incredibly soothing about taking time each week to care for your skin. For me, face masks aren’t just a skincare step they’re a reset and a beauty ritual I return to again and again.
I don’t use complicated routines but I use one of these 3 face masks on a weekly basis. I’ve found these work like magic. These are easy, affordable, and can be made from ingredients in your kitchen.
1. Cucumber Face Mask
When my skin feels dry, tight, or just plain tired, I turn to cucumber. This mask is like a glass of water for my face. Cucumber has natural cooling and anti-inflammatory properties. It’s rich in antioxidants and water perfect for soothing skin, reducing puffiness, and bringing back a soft, dewy glow.
😊Also an important thing that I noticed, a few years ago my skin didn't react well to a particular face cream and got some texture because of it and daily cucumber face mask helped fix the problem within a week. So if you struggle with texture this will bring really good results.
How I make it:
I just slice the cucumber very thin enough to cover my whole face and keep it on for 15 mins, then rinse with cool water.
When I use it: At least twice a week, especially after being out in the sun or wearing makeup. My skin always feels calm and refreshed after.

2. Egg White Mask
This one’s an old-school secret I learned and yes, it really works. When I feel like my pores are a little too visible or my skin has lost its firmness, I reach for the humble egg white. It tightens, lifts, and gives that smooth, firm texture instantly.
How I make it:
I whisk one egg white until it foams a little, then apply it to my face (Personally I don't avoid the eyes area...yeah I know but I don't 🤣). I let it dry for 15 minutes, then rinse with COLD water, because I don't want that egg to cook on my face.
When I use it: Once a week.
3. Clay Mask
I love a good clay mask, but I don’t overdo it because I’ve learned the hard way that over-cleansing strips the skin and leaves it cranky. That’s why I only use this one a week, or even once every 2 weeks, depending on how clogged my skin feels. Clay pulls out impurities, shrinks breakouts, and leaves my skin looking so clean.
How I make it:
I use bentonite clay and mix it with honey and a little bit plain water just enough to make a smooth paste. I always add honey because I don't want it to dry out my skin.
I leave it on for 15 minutes, then rinse gently. If you add honey, you will see that it doesn't dry.
When I use it: Once a week or once every 2 weeks, especially in the cold seasons.
