The Truth About Money No One Teaches You

You know what’s strange? Most of us go our whole lives chasing money, working for it, stressing over it, trying to earn more of it, without ever asking ourselves… what do I actually believe about money?

Have you ever sat down and thought about that?

Because here’s the thing: it’s not really about money itself. It’s about the emotions that comes with it. Somewhere along the way, we got this idea that money is hard. That there’s never enough, that wanting more makes you greedy, that spending it means guilt and that if you’re not working yourself into the ground for it, you probably don’t deserve it.

That’s the real trap!!!!! Not the lack of money… but the emotional baggage we’ve attached to it. A lot of this started before we were even old enough to realize it.

1. Money Isn’t the Problem. Your Story About It Is.

Think back when you were a kid, maybe you wanted something simple, like going to the amusement park, or getting a cool toy. And what did you hear? “We can’t afford that.”“Money doesn’t grow on trees.” .............“That’s too expensive.”

This sneaks in and becomes this invisible rulebook you live by and the rulebook says: you must earn your worth. You must not ask for too much and you definitely shouldn’t enjoy money too much, because that’s selfish.

So as an adult, what happens? You finally make a bit of money… and bam.....guilt. You want something nice, but then feel bad about it. You buy yourself something fun, then instantly start thinking, “Should I have saved that instead?” Sound familiar? For me that was how things were for a long time.

It’s like we’ve been programmed to suffer for money… and then suffer when we have it too.

2. The Hidden Wealth No One Talks About

Now here’s a little secret. Some of the wealthiest, most relaxed people I’ve met? You’d never know they were wealthy. They’re not flexing. They’re not chasing. They’re just… chill.

They’ve got a quiet confidence around money. They don’t obsess about it. They don’t panic when an unexpected bill shows up. They don’t have to prove anything.

And here’s the kicker: most of them don’t make their money from just one job. They have income flowing from multiple places. Some of it passive, some of it creative but they don’t depend on just one paycheck to feel safe.

You know what else? They enjoy what they do. And that’s not because they were lucky or born with it it’s because they made a decision somewhere along the way that said: I’m going to see money differently.

That shift from “money is hard” to “money flows through me” that’s the real wealth.

3. Your Job Isn’t the Source, It’s Just a Channel

Let me say this clearly: your job is not where your money comes from, it’s where your money comes through. That might sound like wordplay, but it changes everything.

Because when you think money comes from your job, then your job becomes your lifeline. You cling to it, even if you hate it, even if it drains you.

But when you realize that money flows through your job, and it can flow through a dozen other things, too .... you take your power back.

Suddenly, your creativity opens up, you get new ideas, you see opportunities you used to ignore, because now you're not just surviving--->you’re allowing.

4. Let’s Talk About Guilt

How often have you stopped yourself from buying something you really wanted not because you couldn’t afford it, but because you felt bad?

Maybe it was something for your home, or a piece of tech you were excited about, or a spontaneous weekend away. And then your brain kicked in with, “Do I really need this?” or “I should save this money just in case.” That’s not logic talking, that’s old programming.

Most of us grew up thinking that money should only be spent on “practical” things. Fun? Optional. Rest? Optional. Joy? Optional.

But guess what? If you only spend money from a place of fear, that fear is going to echo right back to you. Every...... Single........ Time.

Money responds to your state, spend from guilt, and you get more guilt, spend from joy, and you get more flow.

So the next time you’re about to spend money, ask yourself: am I doing this out of fear… or from a sense of expansion?

5. If You Can Manifest Coffee, You Can Manifest Money

Let’s take something simple. Like a cup of coffee. You think about it, you go grab one, and boom......done.

Now imagine treating money the same way. Think I’m joking?

I’m serious. The Universe doesn’t care if it’s coffee, or a hundred bucks, or a brand-new opportunity. It’s all energy. It’s only your belief that says one is easy and one is hard.

Most people manifest coffee on autopilot. But when it comes to money, suddenly it’s like: “What ritual do I need? What am I doing wrong? Why isn’t it showing up?!”

You’re not doing anything wrong.

You’re just overthinking it. The energy of wanting is very different from the energy of already having. One says “I’m lacking.” The other says “I’m open.”

So when you need money, stop treating it like it’s this massive, sacred, mysterious beast. Treat it like… coffee.

6. Your Energy Is the Real Currency

This is what it all comes down to. Money responds to energy and if your energy is stressed, panicked, constantly waiting for the other shoe to drop? Then money gets tangled up in all that static.

But when your energy is steady, calm, curious, even playful, things shift. New ideas pop in. New people show up. Because deep down, you’ve already made peace with the idea that money can flow to you.

Look, the world will always give you reasons to worry about money. Rising prices. Bills. Job pressure. All of course

it’s real. But abundance isn’t something that shows up after everything gets better. Abundance is something you choose before anything changes.

So maybe today, instead of asking “How can I make more money outside my job?” ask yourself, “How can I feel more free? More calm? More trusting?”
