Spreads in Tarot

It has been a while since I posted here and that is because I have a baby now and the time has been a bit short lately.

Anyway, the idea is that probably videos I don't know when I will be able to film, edit and all that jazz with the personal stuff that is going on in my life. So writing it is for now.

Today, let's have a chat about spreads in tarot.

I use different types of spreads, my go to is a 5 card spread. However, I had many moments where I wanted to know in which direction to go or what to choose if I was facing two possibilities and in that situation I had to pull more then 5 cards.

So the spreads that I use are based on the question that I am asking. 

I did a reading a few days ago and the person was asking me "What is the best job for me"?

So I did a 5 card spread in line from left to right:

• Card 1- which was all about where you stand now.

• Card 2 - what are you good at.

• Card 3 - showed me the actual thing that was blocking the person.

• Card 4 - the direction which is worth trying, a field, role etc.

• Card 5 - what does this path cost you. Every path has a price and this card revealed that price that you have to pay.

  
  

Then because the reading gave a general idea about the job, I pulled another card to narrow down even further the profession or at least a better idea about it.

In another reading, the person had to choose between 2 options or two paths. For this situation I choose the 2 path spread. I pulled 3 cards which I placed on the left side and 3 cards which I placed on the right side like 2 columns.

This showed me where Path 1 was leading and where Path 2 was leading. What this spread did was to actually confirm to the person what they intuitively knew all along that if they walked Only towards Path 2 --> this will lead to 3 of Swords Heartbreak.

The problem was that I didn't feel the person should choose between the two and to confirm if my intuitive feeling was correct I decided to pull another card.

I pulled another card to see the Combined Path --> and the Temperance card showed up which meant that the person had to Balance between the two paths which would lead her to a far better situation.

So use spreads based on the question asked. Of course everyone has their own way of doing tarot readings.
