Addiction to Not so Good Habits

Now, let's talk about those habits we've picked up throughout our lives. You know, the stuff we do day in and day out. Whether it's using our hands to build stuff, thinking about other stuff, or conjuring up mental images, or, in some cases, just talking about the same old stuff endlessly. Well, guess what? All that changes not just your outlook on life but your whole physiological structure. Yeah, it affects the body, mind and soul.

Mindfulness, as I see it, is all about conscious and intentional action. Sadly, too many folks are sleepwalking through life. Their whole life, it's like a blur, even when they are eating something they don’t pay attention to how their bodies respond. They don't pay attention to the delightful or dreadful sensations their bodies send their way.
Fun fact: the Universe, God, or whatever you call it, communicates through those bodily sensations so to break free from anything that controls us the answer is to ‘Pay attention’ and to become the master of it.
Addictions and bad habits usually start with unconscious, unintentional actions that get people in trouble.
To be mindful, you've got to quiet that busy mind, and steer your actions toward your own betterment, because guess who's the most important person in your life? It's you!
Now, if you've got an addiction, you already know you've got to swap it for a better habit.
The situation you're in right now? It's just the reaction to your past actions.
So, what will you do, be, and act on today? If you keep repeating yesterday's script, you're going to be stuck in the past. So, choose wisely and I know very well ...is not easy, but you are the only person in this world who can help you.
So now is time to rock some good self-talk, my friend!
Addiction/Bad Habits Affirmations
I am the most significant influence in my life, and I take charge of every aspect of it.
I rise above all my problems and transform them into opportunities to improve as a human being.
The words I speak are the seeds of my success that I plant today to harvest tomorrow.
Miracle upon miracle are happening today, and I see them clearly.
I choose to focus on the beauty of the world and act consciously to invite more of it into my daily life.
I envision in my mind only the realization of my desires, seeing them clearly manifested here and now.
There are no problems here, only experiences from which I've learned valuable lessons on how to better handle myself in the future.
This habit must go, but I am grateful for the opportunity it gave me to learn and grow.
I am born to achieve great things, not tomorrow or next week, but today.
Even if I take small steps in a better direction, it signifies progress. Bravo to me!
I am immensely proud of myself today because I can focus on the things I want to accomplish.
I made the conscious choice today to smile (do smile please as your read this and straightened that back, thank you)
Today is a fantastic and delicious day, because I act intentionally in every area of my life.
Fabulous is what I am today because I choose to do the things that uplift me in spirit, mind, and body.
I am in control of my mood and my life.
I possess inherent value, and I begin nurturing it starting from today.
I allow my inner wisdom to guide all my actions in every situation.
I am open to possibilities and opportunities, and as a result, success accompanies me wherever I go.
I am stronger than I thought. I can let go of things that no longer serve me.
I believe in my ability to create a better life, understanding that it begins with the decisions I make, or choose not to make, today.
